Making Growth Charts
In this video I walk through how I made several different growth charts:
one from a piece of reclaimed oak and the others from rough-sawn lumber.
If you use finished lumber and from a big box store and have them cut it to length, the only power tools required for this project are a router and a random orbital sander. Using rough-sawn lumber will require a miter saw, tablesaw, planer, and possibly a jointer.

sign making bit
number templates
General Finishes water-based poly
Minwax poly
wood glue
glue applicator kit (often goes on sale for 9.99 at Rockler.com)
